Durrės, November 2005. A grammar school is located only 100 meters from where the waste from the chemical plant was disposed of. This plant, at some time, produced pesticides such as lindane and sodium dichomate. Lindane is a poisonous and cancerous substance that affects the nervous system, while sodium dichromate causes damages to the skin.
